Before you ask

Questions, answered.

What the workspace does today, what it does not, and what happens when you connect Claude to it. Every answer here is true of the product now, not of a plan for it.

01

What can Claude see when I connect it?

Everything you can see, and nothing more: Claude connects as you and inherits your own access. Reading costs you nothing and changes nothing. Every write is shown to you as a preview first and is saved only when you confirm that exact change; a confirmation cannot save anything other than what you were shown. Each write is on record afterwards, with the person it was made by and the connector it came through named. Records are archived rather than wiped, and the few things that do go, a seat cleared or an old autosave pruned, leave the change on the audit trail.

02

How does Claude connect, and who gets a token?

From claude.ai there is no token at all: you add the workspace as a connector and sign in through Planners Workspace as yourself, so Claude reads and writes as you, and your own role decides what it may do. Claude Code, scripts and automations use a token instead. A token belongs to a person, not to the studio, so the record says who did a thing even when Claude did it for them, and each one is scoped: reading only, or reading and writing. The token itself is shown once when it is made and only its fingerprint is kept, so it cannot be read back out of the workspace later. You can revoke any token from the same page, and a revoked one stops working at once.

03

Will it ever write to my couples or suppliers?

No. Nothing is sent to a couple or to a supplier by Claude, and nothing is sent on its behalf. The couple’s page is a link you create and share yourself, and you can withdraw it whenever you like. A supplier’s order of the day is a version you cut from your own master and choose to hand over. Writes go to your records and nowhere else.

04

I already use a studio CRM that connects to Claude. Why this?

Because a studio CRM runs the business: the enquiries, the paperwork and the money you invoice. This runs the wedding itself: the budget by category, the suppliers by country and trade, the guests, the room and the day, with each wedding in its own country, currency and time. They are not the same job, and a studio can reasonably keep both. This is the admin of the wedding, not the admin of the studio.

05

What happens to a quote in another currency?

It is stored as it was quoted, in its own currency, with the rate you entered on the line. The rate field is prefilled from an indicative table and is yours to edit, to match your bank or the contract, and once the line is saved that rate is never changed behind your back. It rolls the figure up to the wedding’s base currency, so the totals read in one currency without the original ever being lost. Actual and paid are not typed at all: they are derived from the booking and from the payments recorded against it. A rate changes only when you change it, on the line it belongs to.

06

What does the couple see?

Their wedding on one private page from you: the plan, their guest list, the seating, the boards and where the budget stands, in the wedding’s currency. What a supplier charges you stays between you and the supplier, so the budget they see is category totals and never a supplier’s price. You choose which of those sections the link carries. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign in to, and the link can be withdrawn at any time.

07

What do suppliers get?

A version of the order of the day cut for them from your master: their own entries, plus everything that is not another supplier’s business, and nothing else. It is a named version of the same timeline, so when the day moves their version moves with it. There is a print sheet for the ones who want paper in their hand on the day. Times are shown in the wedding’s own time.

08

Where is my data held?

Your weddings, your files and your records are held in the UK and Western Europe: the app and the database in London, the files in a Western European bucket. Sign-in itself is handled by Clerk, which holds your name and the address you sign in with. Your data is yours and can be exported at any time. You can cancel whenever you like.

09

Can you move my Aisle Planner account?

Yes, from your own Aisle Planner export, or from a data request made under Aisle Planner’s own terms. Budgets, suppliers, contracts, payment schedules, checklists and guests come across, and every wedding is reconciled to the penny before you look at it. Nothing of yours is switched off: your Aisle Planner account stays exactly as it is until you say otherwise.

10

What is not here yet?

Some things are deliberately not built: wedding websites, contracts with e-signature, an email inbox, messaging guests from inside the workspace, invoicing the couple and taking card payments, and self-serve sign-up for a second studio. Each of those is a product in itself, is done better elsewhere, or waits until a second studio says yes. The couple’s page is in English today; a second language is on the list and is not there yet.

Still to ask

Ask it in the form, and a planner will answer.

Tell us where you plan, how many weddings a year and what you use today. A planner reads every request.
